Leather all-season shoes that work just as well for nursery as they do for outdoor adventures.

The soft and highly flexible sole lets your child's foot work naturally. The anatomically wide toe box respects the dominant big toe and natural toe splay, whilst the 3D Stitching technology—where the upper is stitched directly to the sole—gives the shoe flexibility and minimises the use of adhesives.

The two velcro straps mean your child can fasten them independently whilst ensuring a secure fit over both the instep and heel.

How to Care for Your Shoes

• waterproof the shoes before first wear with an impregnation spray designed for smooth leather
• always remove coarse dirt first with a brush; for heavier soiling use a smooth leather cleaner
• regularly nourish with leather cream or balm to prevent the material from drying out
• to restore appearance, use cream in a matching shade (or colourless) and polish with a soft cloth
• if the shoes get wet, stuff them with paper and allow to dry naturally at room temperature - never dry on a radiator or near other heat sources
• to increase durability, regularly treat with impregnation spray

1. What season are D.D.step shoes suitable for?
   All-season models are ideal for spring, summer and autumn. Thanks to the leather upper and lining, they protect little feet well even on cooler days whilst remaining breathable enough for warmer weather.
2. Are these shoes suitable for first steps?
   Yes, the S070 model has a fully flexible sole, anatomically wide toe box and zero drop—features that support the natural development of children's feet.
3. What's the difference between the 070 and 073 range?
   The 073 range has a slightly wider last. If your child finds the 070 model tight over the big toe or the instep is difficult to fasten in our shop, we usually recommend the 073.
4. What does 3D Stitching technology mean?
   It's a method of joining the upper to the sole by stitching rather than gluing. This makes the shoe more flexible and the join holds better even with intensive wear.
5. How do I choose the right D.D.step size?
