Looking for stylish sports sunglasses for your active child that won't break easily? Model D is designed to fit your little athlete perfectly.

LITTLE KYDOO is a Czech brand specialising in children's sunglasses.

  • 100% protection against harmful UVA, UVB and UVC radiation (UV 400, category 3)
  • Polarised mirror lenses
  • Sunglasses are BPA-free, phthalate-free and PVC-free, meeting FDA, CPSIA and CE standards
  • Certified to European standards EN ISO 12312-1:2013/A1:2015

Size D is suitable for children aged 3–5 years.

The lenses can be replaced with prescription lenses at an optician.

What are the benefits of polarised lenses

  • Polarised lenses block the unpleasant effects of harsh light that is intensified by smooth surfaces such as water, fresh powdery snow or glossy tiles. They therefore provide proper protection even in environments that are uncomfortable for the eye due to strong sun glare and where the eyes are under greater strain.
  • Polarised sunglasses provide 100% eye protection, reduce eye strain and act as prevention against various eye diseases.

Why sunglasses are important for children

  • A child's eye is more sensitive than an adult's due to its wider and more transparent lens.
  • Children's vision is constantly developing and especially the eyes of young children should be properly protected from harmful UV radiation.

What is important when choosing sunglasses for children

  • Children's sunglasses should have the highest possible UV filter, i.e. 400nm (nanometres), which provides almost 100% protection against harmful radiation.
  • Lens darkness is classified into five categories, from 0 to 4. Children's sunglasses should have a category 3 filter.
  • Children's sunglasses should be made from quality lightweight and flexible material that is resistant to damage (free from BPA, phthalates and PVC).
