BEPPI Juvenil Kids' Barefoot Ankle Boots Khaki

BEPPI Juvenil is an all-season ankle boot for older children from Portuguese brand Beppi. It features an upper combining smooth and suede synthetic materials, a reinforced toe box and heel in durable suede, and a contrasting dark grey textile collar around the ankle.

The fastening uses laces with an elastic toggle at the ankle, plus the ankle cuff is held by velcro, so your child doesn't need to untie and tie the laces each time – just release the velcro.

They're ideal for school trips and outdoor play at break times. The chunkier sole with deeper tread grips better on mud and roots than the smoother soles on models for younger children.

Frequently asked questions

1. Does my child need to know how to tie laces?
   No, the laces are tied once to fit and then the shoe is put on and taken off using just the velcro on the cuff – this is especially handy for children who want to put their shoes on independently.
2. Are they suitable off-pavement, for example in the woods?
   Yes, the sole has a deeper tread than lower Beppi models and grips noticeably better on terrain.
3. Can I buy the same model in a different colour?
   Yes, we also stock Juvenil in a pink version – you'll find it in the similar products section below.
4. How do I know when the shoe is too small?
   The most reliable way is to remove the insole and have your child stand on it – the big toe should still have at least a centimetre of space to the end of the insole.
5. Is Juvenil waterproof?
   No. The upper will handle light rain and wet grass, but the shoe isn't designed for puddles or deeper mud – neither the synthetic nor the suede has a waterproof membrane.
