Children Barefoot Podcast naBOSo
How should your baby develop from 4 months onwards? We asked experts in psychomotor development and podology, Edita Prošková and Hana Tonarová.
Physiotherapists Hana Tonarová and Edita Prošková talked about the journey a baby makes from birth to three months in the previous episode. This time, they pick up where they left off and guide you through your little one’s psychomotor development from four months right up to their first birthday.
At four months, your baby no longer just lies still in one place, but gradually starts exploring the world – and their psychomotor development moves forward with it. Before they learn to walk, though, they need to master plenty of skills that will gradually lead them to those first independent steps. What should your child be able to do by their first birthday? What should you watch for, and why – and when is it a good idea to see a physiotherapist?
