Tips and tricks

• Soak the stockings in water, place them in a bag and put them in the freezer overnight. In the morning, take them out and let them defrost in a warm, dry place. Freezing stockings and tights before their first wear strengthens the fibres, making them less prone to tearing.
• Don't forget about foot care—use a pumice stone to keep the skin on your feet smooth. Make sure you don't have frayed nails (on your hands or feet) and cracked heels. To be safe, remove rings and bracelets with stones. The fibres of delicate hosiery and tights need very little to snag.
• Clear nail varnish can stop a spreading ladder. Alternatively, you can use hairspray to strengthen the stockings.

How to care for your stockings

• Wash inside out on a gentle cycle at 30°C.
• For stockings, we recommend hand washing or using a dedicated washing detergent.
• Do not bleach, iron, dry clean or tumble dry.
