Walking, Movement and Health Podcast naBOSo
What is a scar, how does it form, and how should you look after it? How can you tell it’s healing properly? We’ll talk about laparoscopy and caesarean sections with the experts from FyzioKoktejl.
In the next episode of the naBOSo mluVÍ podcast, this time dedicated to scars, we once again sat down with physiotherapists Mgr. Kristýna Šonská and Mgr. Olga Sidorenková. Alongside perhaps the best-known scar of all – the one after a caesarean section – we also talked, for example, about laparoscopy, which, although it may not look like it at first glance, is actually quite a significant intervention for the body.
Right at the start, we looked at the general definition of scars and gradually worked our way to what matters most: how to care for scars from the moment they appear right through to full healing. Every scar is different – not only in how it’s created, but also in how it behaves during healing – and therefore it needs a slightly different approach. Kristýna and Olga share practical tips on how to look after a scar so it heals well and is as discreet as possible in the future.
