   The upper will handle light rain, dew and wet grass, but they're not designed for mud or puddles – the synthetic material doesn't have a waterproof membrane.
2. Does the boot stay on the ankle when running and climbing?
   The higher cut and laces with velcro hold the heel better than low trainers, which parents of children learning to walk on uneven terrain will particularly appreciate.
