These year-round barefoot trainers from the Czech brand Pegres are well made and handcrafted from certified leather. The stitched sole makes them truly durable, which suits everyday wear by active children. The cut is designed for comfort, whether your child has a dominant big toe, a narrow heel or fan-shaped toes. They are nicely roomy at the front, leaving room for toes to grow, and adjust easily to a lower or slightly higher instep. The two velcro straps make them easy for your child to put on and fasten.

How to care for the shoes

• always brush off coarse dirt first
• wipe the shoes with a damp cloth and dry them
• do not machine wash them or dry them directly next to heat sources
• to increase durability, treat the shoes regularly with waterproofing spray
• with proper care, leather lasts a long time
• a natural colourless leather balm gives shoes a longer life and a nicer look
