Beppi Juvenil are all-season ankle boots for older children from the Portuguese brand Beppi. The upper combines smooth and suede-look synthetic, with a reinforced toe and heel in more durable suede and a contrasting dark grey textile collar around the ankle.

They fasten with laces and an elastic tightening loop at the ankle, and the ankle cuff is secured with velcro. Your child does not need to untie and retie the laces every time, just open the velcro.

They are suitable for school trips and outdoor play during breaks. The chunkier sole with a more pronounced tread grips better on mud and roots than the smoother sole on models for younger children.

FAQ

1. Does my child need to be able to tie laces?
   No. The laces are tied once to fit, and after that the boot is put on and taken off using just the velcro on the cuff. This is especially handy for children who want to put their shoes on themselves.
2. Are they suitable off the pavement, for example in the woods?
   Yes, the sole has a deeper tread than lower Beppi models and grips noticeably better on rough terrain.
3. Can I buy the same model in another colour?
   Yes, we also offer the Juvenil in a pink version. You will find it in the similar products section below.
4. How do I know when the shoe is too small?
   The most reliable way is to take out the insole and have your child stand on it. There should still be at least a centimetre of space beyond the big toe.
5. Is the Juvenil waterproof?
   No. The upper handles light rain and wet grass, but the shoe is not designed for puddles or deeper mud, as the synthetic and suede do not have a waterproof membrane.
